The Whole Day Out
Dearest Skyler,
We quickly got dressed to leave once we got up.
We drove down to Raffles City for lunch at the Japanese restaurant.
On the walk to the restaurant, we stopped by the dress stall to buy you the dress that Grandma wanted to buy for you.
We didn't bother to ask for a high chair at the restaurant as you don't really like to sit in one anymore. But this isn't the norm now, okay? It'll depend on what kinds of seats there are. :p
We then brought you to Fox to buy you a pullover as you looked so cute when you tried it on before at the other outlet.
Papa then brought you over to the Funan Centre Swensen's for some ice cream. The managers there were so nice to you - they gave you a standard balloon, a balloon dog and a bag of party novelties!
But the che-ches there shocked Papa by the way they wasted ice cream! Papa had requested a couple of flavours with one amendment. The che-che who took the request asked another che-che to prepare it. The latter got a scoop of another flavour and Papa told her that it was not what he wanted and she just threw it away! She then scooped both flavours onto the cone but they were so huge that they threatened to topple. So, in the end, Papa asked for it to be put into a cup intending that they just pour what they had already scooped into the cup but she just threw it away as well. Papa was so shocked at the waste! Oh well...
We walked around the place eating the huge amount of ice cream before we headed back to Mama.
When we met up with Mama again, we bought some Christmas presents before Mama brought you to play at a place that Robinsons had set up - you had balloon sculpting, bead making, drawing, face painting, etc. They also provided pop corn and candy floss.
When you had explored enough we brought you to visit the fountain before heading for Godma's for a Christmas gathering.
When we got to Godma's place, you wanted to see the fish being fed so Godma did so. - Aunty Karen's family came as well. As all the children in her family were girls, there really were a lot of girls running around. :D Aunty Karen shared the mee suah that she had brought for Charissa with you. :D You also had some of the dim sum that we had – you ate four egg tarts! You had lots of fun playing with the fish tank.
After dinner, we handed out presents and you got lots of stuff! :D You also played with the girls through the night.
Papa and Mama love you!
