What a Soupy Day!

Dearest Skyler,

Sigh… Skyler, you’ve not been sleeping well at all! You woke up at midnight and put Papa through the paces for two whole hours and you still couldn’t go back to sleep. Mama then had to come in to help. Yet, you still couldn’t sleep. It wasn’t until almost 4.30 a.m. that you finally fell asleep after you’d laid in bed with Mama and Papa for some time. Poor Baby Girl! :(

By the time we got up, it was past noon. Mama had spent the morning making soup for you for lunch and that’s what we had! :D It was a very yummy soup! :D Thank you, Mama!

As Mama and Papa had work to rush, we asked Aunty Chris if she could watch you for a while and she agreed so we brought you down to her place to play with che-che Joan and mei-mei Dawn. Kor-kor Luke came home later to play with you too.

Mama went down to pick you up a bit later to bring you home. When you got home, we all took a nap.

Uncle James had prepared minestrone soup today and he very generously shared one whole pot with us! It was so filled with ingredients that we had it for dinner with nothing else! It was so yummy and filling to boot! :D

We spent the night at home as we were all so tired.

You still had problems with going to sleep. In the end, Mama came in and slept with you and Papa in bed before you fell asleep.
