Swimming & Pizza
Dearest Skyler,
After we finally got up at what has become our usual time, we got ourselves ready to go swimming! You had chosen that over the zoo! :D Thank God the weather was so good today. It was sunny in a fairly clouded way. :p
When we got to the pool, it wasn’t too crowded and we had quite a bit of space to move around in but as time passed by, it began to get extremely crowded. :p We went through our usual routine of moving from one pool to another but the only pool that you are tall enough to stand in was the wading pool! That didn’t stop you from wanting to climb into the adult lap pool though! We had to keep on stopping you and moving you away from it.
You had also insisted on bringing so many toys to the pool but as we expected, once we got there, you didn’t want to play with any of them. :p Thus, Papa put them together with our things so that we could concentrate on watching you instead of worrying about them floating away.
When we wanted to leave the pool, you refused and began to cry non-stop when we carried you all the way to the changing room. In the end, we decided that Mama would bathe first while Papa brought you back to the pool and when she was done, she would then bathe you so that you would have a few more minutes in the pool. That sort of calmed you down a bit but even so, you still cried a bit when Papa yanked you out of the pool when Mama came looking for us when she was done. :p Sorry, Lil’ One!
We headed to the Point for a pizza dinner as that was what you told Mama you wanted while you were being bathed. We decided to try out the pizza restaurant today as we’d never brought you there before. We’d always fed you pizza at the pasta place and Papa wondered if the pizza at the pizza place would be just as well received by you.
We had garlic bread and pizza there and you ate a bit of both. The whole place wasn’t too bad except that the waiters and waitresses were really quite inexperienced. A number of them were sporting “Trainee” badges. They didn’t seem to know what kinds of deals the restaurant was having and they had to be told to go and ask their managers for details. Sigh… Oh well…But on the whole, it was quite an okay experience.
After dinner, we walked around a bit before heading for the supermarket to pick up some stuff and head home. You so totally are a baby of habit, Lil’ One. Once we got to the supermarket, you headed straight for the lemon and ‘buah salak’ area and started putting them singly onto the weighing scale. You do this everytime we go there. :D
You were so tired by then. You slept in the Duckie Mobile all the way home but when Papa put you to bed, you woke up and refused to go back to sleep. It was only later in the night that you fell asleep. However, it was much earlier than most nights that we put you to bed. Papa and Mama were also quite sleepy by then and we slept until after 11 p.m. before we got up to do our work. Hopefully, you’ll sleep through the night, Lil’ One!
Papa and Mama love you!
