Swim-Swim!

Dearest Skyler,

We went for a ‘bao-bao’ lunch this afternoon. We ate the usual stuff and you ate your usual amount. :D After that, we left immediately for the swimming pool as it was already quite late.

When we got there, the sky was a bit dark but we decided that we would take a short dip in any case as we’d wanted to bring you to the pool for some time and you wanted to swim too.

The pools were quite crowded as there were several children’s swimming classes going on. However, though it was crowded, we still had our own little space to move around in so it was actually still quite good. :D

After a short while, it started drizzling and we were worried that the rain might become heavier so we got out of the pool to stand under some shelter. We didn’t want to leave immediately like we did the last time as we were wondering if the rain might stop after a short while like the last time. :D It did! So we went back into the water. :D

After some time, we thought it best that we leave but you didn’t want to leave. You wanted to stay in the water for a bit longer. :D However, it was very late already and you hadn’t had a nap the whole afternoon so we pulled you out to get changed so we could all go home.

After we got home, we bathed you and then kept you up for a bit longer as your hair was wet. Then we tried to put you to bed. You so didn’t want to nap initially. Mama had to carry you for quite some time before you were willing to sleep. You woke up after a while and we thought of going out with you for dinner but you were so fussy and cranky. We decided to eat in instead. However, we realised that you really needed to go back to sleep. You must have been so tired out by the swim.

You woke up again quite a bit later and of course that meant that we had a hard time putting you back to bed for the night. We tried to get you to bed at 10 something but that was obviously ridiculous as you’d already had more than 3 hours of sleep an hour or so before that. Sigh… Poor Lil’ One! We shouldn’t have let you nap for so long but what could we do?

You so totally want Mama to carry you like a baby now. It’s so cute! :D
