Swim-Swim Day

Dearest Skyler,

Papa and Mama ended up sleeping very late again – about 5 a.m. – thus it was quite terrible for us when you woke up at 7 a.m. and refused to go back to bed! :p Papa managed to get you back to bed later but you didn’t sleep very long so Mama had to watch you while Papa slept like a log! :p

As you were so awake, we decided that it was futile to try to see if you would take an afternoon nap so we brought you out swimming instead as you wanted to. On the way to our Duckie Mobile, we bumped into Kor-kor Luke and Che-che Joan and their grandpa in the lift. They were also going swimming but at a different location.

We spent quite a long time at the pool today as the weather was good and the pool was empty but most importantly, we had no agenda for the evening. :D You so enjoyed yourself in the water that you were reluctant to leave even after the two hours that we’d spent there.

Skyler, you’re actually quite strong! You keep on pulling yourself out of the water using the side walls. Papa remembers that when he was much younger and learning to swim, a few of his friends had problems pulling themselves out of the water via the sidewalls – they actually needed to use the ladder.

You also totally enjoyed jumping while in the water as it’s so much easier for you to do so. :D

After leaving the pool, we headed back to the Point for dinner. We had chicken and fish at the food court and you ate so much. You must have really been very hungry after the swim.

After dinner, we went over to the library to return your books and Mama chose some more books for you. You spent the time running around the library playing. You so enjoy walking on the stepping stones in the library. You also kept on removing your sandals. We still don’t know why you keep on doing that. We had to keep on putting them back on. :p

Before heading home, we bought some groceries.

You were quite sleepy by then so you hardly put up a struggle before going to sleep.

We love you, Lil’ One.

Papa and Mama
