Shopping!
Dearest Skyler,
Papa and Mama worked until 6 a.m. this morning and just as we were preparing to turn in you woke up! :p We gave you your milk and carried out your usual morning routine and thankfully, you were able to go back to sleep soon after. :p
Papa and Mama of course very gratefully went to bed until you woke us up again at almost mid-day.
Once we got up, we had to rush to leave as Mama needed to be in school for a meeting in the afternoon. After we got Mama to school, Papa and you headed off to IMM for lunch. After we had gotten there, Papa decided that we would just hang out there until it was time to pick Mama up as the weather wasn’t good enough for us to chance going to the zoo and by the time we had our lunch, there wasn’t really that much time to go home and do stuff. Besides, there were so many things that we could look at there.
You so enjoyed yourself going around exploring. There were so many kiddy rides that you could climb onto and kids’ stores to go into and such. We just went around walking and we only covered a couple of floors! :p You also enjoyed yourself climbing onto all kinds of furniture either in the common areas or in the stores and at one of the stores, you just kept on walking through a clothes rack over and over again! :D
You hardly ate or drank anything while we were there, Lil’ One. You didn’t even want your milk and when Papa offered you the soya bean milk that you asked for, you refused to take more than two sips. Weren’t you hungry, Lil’ One?
Anyway, close to the time that Mama was ready to be picked up, you began to get tired and sleepy so Papa brought you back to the Duckie Mobile so that you could catch a nap. We drove down to Mama’s school even though she wasn’t ready yet so that you could sleep. We then waited for a very short while before Mama signalled us to get her and we then headed off to Plaza Singapura.
We had to return to ‘Plaza Sing’ as we wanted to get your wings changed. And we ended up doing the usual things again! :D We visited your sheep at the store. You initially were scared to go into the store but Papa encouraged you to go in and after that, you just went around hugging all the sheep! :D (You had also kissed a doggie-face on a toy at IMM just now.) You are such a loving child, Lil’ One! Sigh… you’re such a joy! Keep loving people and animals, okay?
We had dinner at the food court where you only took your milk and refused to eat anything else. However, you patiently waited for us to have our dinner and we thank God that you’ve developed patience in this area for sometime now. :D
We then brought you to the basement as a new fish shop had opened there and we wanted to let you see the fish. It was a fairly nice shop. They had both fresh and salt water fish and terrapins as well. The whole set up was very pleasant. :D
Before leaving, we did a bit of grocery shopping at Carrefour. When we told you that there was where we were going, you kept on saying ‘Carrefour’ over and over until Mama heard you say it. :D In Carrefour, you walked around playing with everything you could grab. You even wanted to sit on this board on wheels. Papa has always wanted to get one for you (don’t know why) but you’re still a bit too small for it.
You were so tired by the time we got home (even with the nap in the car on the way back) you went to bed quite willingly. :p
We love you, Lil’ One! You’ve been such a blessing and a joy!
