Egg Sandwiches and A Froggy Bowl

Dearest Skyler,

In the morning, when you woke up, Papa weighed you as you felt so heavy and to his surprise, you were 10.4 kg! You had been 10 kg for so long that Papa didn’t think that you’d actually put on weight but you did! :D

Mama brought you down to Aunty Chris’s place to borrow an egg slicer as we were going to make lots of egg sandwiches today for Mama’s class tonight. While you were there, it was time for che-che Joan to come back from kindergarten so Mama and you accompanied Aunty Chris and mei-mei Dawn downstairs to wait for her school bus. :D

You both then came back up and started putting all the eggs that we’d bought the previous night to boil. Mama had invited che-che Joan to come up to help with the egg sandwich making and they accepted. :D So, they came up and helped with the shelling, slicing and mashing of the eggs. :D You had so much fun helping out with the process as well. :D Mama also let you eat some of the egg and you fed yourself! :D You spilt a bit of it onto the floor as well too! :D

While we were preparing the eggs, we were talking and Aunty Chris and Papa found out that we had the same swimming coach and had learnt to swim at the same swimming pool when were younger! :D How coincidental is that! :D

Papa and Mama carried on with the sandwich making after they had to leave and by then, you were quite tired out and just sat down to watch your Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. :D After we were done, we put you to bed for a nap.

After you woke up, you had a shower. We were going to bring Mama down for her class in church. While Mama was going to be there, Papa and you were going to meet Grandma for dinner. However, you refused to get dressed after the shower! You just ran around naked and we were so worried that you were going to pee or boom while in that state of undress! And you did! You didn’t make it to your potty and peed on the floor! Initially, Papa was wondering why the floor was wet and Mama figured out that you had peed! Sigh … :p

It took a very long time before you agreed to put on some clothes and by then, we were very late already! Yet, you still insisted on having a bottle of Vitagen before leaving. :p We didn’t want to scold you for something like this as this is really minor, Lil’ One. But we will scold you for running off on your own as that is very dangerous! :p Yet, Papa was a bit frustrated with it all as Grandma had already set off for our meeting and we were late! Sorry! Papa knows that it is not a big deal as we were not all that late. Papa will do better next time. :p

Also, you insisted on bringing along your froggy bowl! We had no idea why you wanted to bring that along but you did. Mama put the bowl into your Minnie Mouse backpack so that you could carry it along with you. :D

After leaving Mama in church, Papa and you went to meet Grandma. We walked all the way to Suntec City for dinner as Grandma wanted to visit an event there held by Nature’s Farm. They were having some kind of 25th Anniversary celebrations and were offering discounts on their products.

When we got there, you remembered that there was a pet shop that had rabbits and such and you kept on asking to visit it. Papa brought you there as it was along the way. However, as we didn’t have much time as we had to go back to meet Mama later, Papa let you visit them for a short while before rushing you off for dinner.

We went to Kenny Roger’s Roasters for dinner as Papa remembered that you liked to eat the corn nibblets. And yes, you happily ate lots of the corn nibblets and the other side dishes as well! You asked for quite a bit of the food and we fed you until your mouth was full! :p We had to keep on telling ourselves to slow down and let you chew and swallow before we fed you some more. :D You ate quite a bit once more, Lil’ One! Well done! You also carried your own cup to drink water and you didn’t spill any of it! :D

We went to the exhibition area where the event was being held and Grandma went off to look for her products. Papa and you went off to a section that they had prepared for kiddies like you to play. They had boxes and boxes of Lego pieces and Papa and you sat there and played with them until Grandma was done.

As part of the Nature’s Farm celebrations, they had lots of stuff to give away as well. There was a ‘spin the wheel’ thing where Grandma got a packet of raisins for you. They also gave you a coloured-sand craft set where you can pour coloured sand onto a picture to make some sort of craft work. They also gave us a couple of popsicles. You kept on wanting to try the popsicles but Papa refused to let you have it. It’s not the healthiest thing, Lil’ One. You can have ice cream but not these, okay? :p

We then headed back to church as it was close to the time that Mama was ending her class. We went via the Citylink Mall and you kept on wanting to walk and look at stuff. Unfortunately, as we were quite late, Papa kept on rushing you. Sorry!

We sent Grandma off at the MRT station on the way back to church.

Mama introduced you to her classmates when we got back to church. :D Mama gave you a picture of a rabbit that she’d gotten that evening. We then came home.

You were so awake when we got back home. It took us some time before you finally fell asleep. Good night, Lil’ One!

We love you!

Papa and Mama
