A Day with Grandmas

Dearest Skyler,

You woke up extremely early today – just before 7 a.m. Considering that Papa only finally managed to fall asleep at 4 a.m., that was really really early! :p Actually, you were still very sleepy. You had your milk and watched a bit of TV but you could hardly sit up; you kept on lying down on Papa’s lap. When Papa decided to put you back to bed, you made a big fuss but as you really were sleepy, you did go back to bed.

Popo travelled all the way down to spend some time with you today. Papa and Mama took the opportunity to go out for a movie since Popo would be around to care for you. However, when we were about to leave, you kicked up a big fuss and refused to let us go. You were so sad, Lil’ One. You kept on crying and clinging onto us - one at a time! Our hearts so totally melted at how much you love us and need us. :D In the end, you finally calmed down when Popo brought you downstairs with us to see us off. Sigh… Poor Lil’ Darling!

Thus, you spent the whole afternoon with Popo. You took an afternoon nap as well besides doing all your usual stuff. :D

We came back later in the afternoon and brought Popo home. Papa and you then gave a lift to Mama to an MRT station so that she could go down to church for her course. Papa and you then headed off to Grandma’s for dinner. As it was the Rush Hour, the traffic was super-heavy and it took forever to get there. Papa was so tired from driving by the time we got there.

We had dinner at the usual coffeeshop. You ate only a little food but drank up a whole glass of Milo. :D You actually didn’t want to sit at the dinner table but Papa ‘forced’ you to. Papa brought you over to the toy machines and got you a toy to play with while you were seated. It entertained you for a very short while before you lost interest. :p

After dinner, you both walked Grandma back to her home and you were such a good girl! You said goodbye to Grandma according to Papa’s requests – you said goodbye, said night-night, gave Grandma a kiss and a hug! :D You made Grandma so happy! :D

It’s so funny! You’ve taken to repeating most of what we say as you’ve developed your ability to speak quite well. One of the things you’ve picked up is calling us “Hon!” :D That’s a term of endearment that Mama and Papa have for each other – it’s short form for “Honey!” :D Hahahahaha! You’re not supposed to call us that, Lil’ One!

Oh! We forgot to mention that you’ve also learnt how to take off your clothing top. You did that a few times a few nights ago because it was so warm. :D

Papa and Mama love you, Lil’ One!
