Visiting Relatives

Dearest Skyler,

You woke up very early today! You woke Papa up just before 6 a.m.! What’s this about then? :D After an hour or so, Papa brought you back to bed as Papa was so sleepy!

When we woke up again, we noticed that you seemed taller so we took your height and were surprised to see that you had grown another 2 cm plus in just two weeks! :D Your clothes are getting too short for you! :p

Grandma met us later at the Point for lunch at the dim sum place. We had quite a bit of dim sum as we were there relatively early and they still had most of the items on the menu available. :D You had a bit of food and we’re glad for that.

After lunch, we took a short walk around the place though you were quite sleepy still actually. We walked over to the electrical-cum-furniture shop to collect a balloon for you as they were celebrating some event. Then we headed home. Grandma came home with us as she wanted to spend the day with you. She misses you lots, Lil’ One.

However, after playing a bit with her, all of us were very sleepy and needed a nap so we bade her good night and we all napped! :p

After we woke up, we all drove down to the zoo for a walk. We visited the white tigers, kangaroos and wallabies among many other animals! It was quite fun! We left quite late as we wanted to visit more animals.

We then went back to the Point for dinner at the pasta place. You ate some spaghetti and tried a bit of pizza. You seem to be okay with the food. Hmmm… Hope we don’t ‘salt’ you too much. :p Mama bought some mooncakes from the Point for a couple of our relatives after dinner.

We drove Grandma home then headed down to Tai-po’s place to deliver a box of mooncakes. As you were sleeping, only Mama went up to their apartment to drop off the mooncakes. We then drove to Dai-baht-gong’s place to deliver a box of mooncakes to his family.

It was already quite late when we got there but they were all awake and very hospitable. As we had not visited them for years, we felt that we had to stay for a while though we felt bad that we were keeping them up. Uncle Damien kept on bringing out his son’s toys for you to play with because they wanted you to feel at home. :D Kor-kor kept on passing things to you to play with and he also kept on coming up to you to shake your hand. :D

After staying for half an hour, we said our good-byes and headed home. By the time we put you to bed, it was very late already. So sorry, Lil’ One!

Papa and Mama love you!
