Popo’s Birthday Celebrations!

Dearest Skyler,

We went down for church and Mama brought you out for Sunday School today. You were such a good girl! You kept to the class area and did not wander off as you are wont to do. Good Girl, Lil’ One! The Sunday School teachers are thinking of graduating you and your classmates to the next higher level as most of you are getting too old for what they do with the class now. But you still so enjoy the songs they sing. Oh well… It won’t happen until the end of the year so we’ll see how it goes. :D

After service, we went over to Sushi Tei for lunch. You had your usual chawanmushi and milk! :D You were so hungry, Lil’ One! :D

After lunch, we dropped by the Point on the way home. We had to pick up Popo’s birthday present and some more mooncakes. We were celebrating Popo’s birthday tonight as we can’t make it tomorrow. As you were sleeping in the car, Mama did the running around to get all the stuff. Mama also picked up a birthday cake and flowers for Popo. The mooncakes are actually for Mama’s former teachers. She still remembers them and wants to do something nice for them. :D

We then headed home for a nap. You managed to sleep a bit more but it was so short that Mama hardly felt that she had fallen asleep! :D Oh well… Since you had awakened us and refused to go back to bed, we all got up and Mama got Papa to complete putting together the stools for your table and replace the batteries in your toys. :D We then packed away all the pink coloured birthday cake candles that we have accumulated. Mama’s thinking of using all the same coloured candles and candle holders for your birthday cakes! :D Isn’t Mama so thoughtful? :D

We drove down to Popo’s place after that and you once again enjoyed sitting in the car. Then you started going around Popo’s place rummaging through all her stuff and playing with whatever you could. Kow-fu and Kow-moh joined us soon after. When dinner was over, they brought you out to walk around with a lantern. You had such a thrill doing that. We then had Popo’s birthday cake before we came home. You had such a fun time there playing with everyone. You’re such a good girl, Lil’ One! Oh! And “Happy Birthday, Popo!”

Your vocabulary has increased by leaps and bounds, Lil’ One! You can say so many things and you are so vocal! :D So many of your words are pronounced so clearly as well! :D You’re going to start chattering away soon!

Papa and Mama love you, Lil’ One!
