Mid-Autumn Festival

Dearest Skyler,

We all woke up quite late today. Papa and Mama had to go in to work so we had to leave you under Grandma’s care for the afternoon.

You played Hungry Hippo with Grandma, watched TV and so on. You had a fairly great time. :D

In the evening, after Mama had come home, you all went to meet Popo who had travelled all the way to our place for a Mid-Autumn’s gathering.

The Residents’ Committee at our place had organised a mini lantern festival downstairs and lots of people had turned up. There was a dragon dance and a lucky draw. Lots and lots of people came and lit candles, lanterns and sparklers! It was so festive! It was great fun!

Papa came back later in the evening after his lesson and joined in the festivities! Mama borrowed the use of someone else's candle to light up a couple of sparklers for you to play with! You were so fascinated by them! :D

We then headed back upstairs to have some mid-autumn festival goodies like pomelo, yam and mooncakes! :D Kow-fu came later to join us as well! What a gathering! :D Mama, Kow-fu and you then headed back downstairs so that Kow-fu could see close-up all the fun that was going on! :D

You were once again such a naughty girl! You ran off to play with the exercise equipment downstairs and Mama was so worried about you hurting yourself that she hit her head against that piece of equipment while trying to keep you safe! Mama had so much pain! :(

You had so much fun tonight, Lil’ One! But you must be more careful and listen to Mama and Papa, okay? :D
