Little Runner
Dearest Skyler,
We brought Mama to her school in the afternoon as she had to meet her supervisor for a short while concerning something. While Mama was busy with that, Papa and you drove down to IMM for a walk.
You so totally went amok there! There were so many things to see and do! You dashed into one of the clothing stores to play with the toys that they’d set up for kids to play with while their mamas and papas looked for clothes for them! :D You refused to leave until Papa carried you out! :D Papa and you then ended up at the Popular Bookstore after walking around a bit and you picked up a book and carried it with you to an aisle where you sat down and flipped through it. Soon after, Mama called to say that she was ready and so Papa and you left to pick Mama up.
We drove down to Raffles City after picking Mama up. You wanted to look at the fountain so we brought you to visit it. You so totally know where you are in all these shopping malls that we bring you to, Lil’ One! We are so amazed with your memory! We were nowhere near the fountain when you asked to visit it. You also asked for an ice cream when we got there and once again, you didn’t even see the store that sold the ice cream. You so totally remember what we do and what we see at the different malls that we frequent, Lil’ One! So, yes, we got ourselves an ice cream and sat at the fountain to eat it. :D
We walked over to the Citylink Mall after that as it’d been sometime since we went there and also Mama had to pick something up. You so totally loved the amount of space there. You ran all over the place! You can so totally run now, Lil’ One! It’s so heart warming to see you enjoy yourself running around and the smile on your face just lights up the place! :D
We went all the way to the other end before turning back. By then, you were a bit tired already from all the running around so Papa brought you back to the car so that you could catch a nap. Mama had to meet her friend so Papa and you left to visit Grandma.
When Papa and you got to Grandma’s you were still asleep so Papa joined you in a nap in the carpark. :D Grandma had to come down to the carpark to wake Papa up! :D After you got up, we went for dinner at the coffee shop. You refused to eat except for a bit of tofu. You also wanted to go for a walk but Papa refused to let you as we must learn to sit at the dinner table until everyone’s done, Lil’ One.
After dinner, we went up to Grandma’s to visit for a while. We gave Grandma the camera that we had bought and Grandma seemed quite happy with it. :D There were so many things that came with it – rechargeable batteries and charger, mini tripod, screen protector, camera pouch – there were so many things to share with Grandma regarding the camera. :D While we were there, you wanted to drink some milk so Papa prepared it for you. You gulped it down so quickly that Grandma was surprised by the speed with which you did it! :D
You so enjoyed jumping on Grandma’s bed and picking up Grandma’s coins that she kept in a dish. :D When we were leaving you kept on giving Grandma kissies on her cheek and blowing flying kissies to her! :D
Papa and you went all the way to the car before Papa remembered that Grandma had bought mooncakes for us so Papa and you went back upstairs to collect them. So we started the flying kissies and waving goodbye with Grandma again. :D
Papa and you then went home first. Mama was in church attending to something so Papa and you were alone for a while. We waited for Mama to come back before we tucked you into bed.
