A Happy Meal!
Dearest Skyler,
Papa had literally worked over night until this morning as he had to complete something. He then passed the work to Uncle Jason (Papa’s colleague and our neighbour) who was kind enough to do Papa the favour of bringing the work to their work place for Papa for distribution. Thus, Papa only went to bed at 6.45 a.m. And then bounced back up awake at 7 plus to go for breakfast at McDonald’s with Mama and you! :D
We encountered a trio of students who were obviously playing truant as they were secondary school students in uniform and they were talking about whether to go to school or not. Skyler, Papa was quite disgusted with their attitude and behaviour. They had probably deceived their parents into thinking that they had gone to school or else they wouldn’t have been in their school uniforms. And even if they did go to school later rather than going to Pasir Ris Park as one of them had suggested, they were very late already. Don’t ever skip school without our permission, understand? It is so difficult for so many children in the world to get any kind of education and these children don’t seem to appreciate the opportunity that our country gives them. I’m very sad to see such people. Please don’t ever disappoint me by having this kind of attitude.
Anyway, we so totally enjoyed our breakfast together. Usually we skip breakfast altogether as we sleep through breakfast time! :D We got you another Hello Kitty toy with the Happy Meal – a ‘camera’! It actually is a sticker thingy that is shaped like a camera but you totally recognised it as a camera - amazing how you can associate things, Lil’ One!
On the way back home, you played with the exercise equipment in the fitness area. You so enjoy playing with them. The only thing is these equipment are exposed to the elements and lots of people use them so they’re actually quite dirty. We immediately washed your hands once we stepped into the apartment! :p You still suck your thumb so we thought that this was the only hygienic thing to do.
After waking up from our nap, we went down to the Point for a dim sum lunch. At the dim sum place, you had quite a bit of char siew stuff. You also kept on playing with your draw-draw materials and the bowl and utensils that they provided. :D
We then of course walked around a bit before heading home for yet another nap! :D Papa was still a bit worn out from having worked through the whole night so Papa’s energy level was quite low. :p
Papa and you spent the rest of the day at home as Mama had to go to church for her lesson. Papa tried to put you to bed early tonight as he thought that you could sleep earlier and Papa himself was exhausted still. However, it was Papa who went to sleep while you tossed and turned in bed until Mama came home. We then all spent a bit of time together before you finally went back to bed for the night. :D
We love you, Lil’ One!
