Haircut
Dearest Skyler,
We had a slow day today after the very long night we had last night. You woke up close to 10 am today so that allowed all of us to sleep in. :D You then went back to have a nap after watching lots of TV.
After our nap, we went down to the Point for lunch. We had some dim sum once again but you only ate a little. :( Oh well…! While we were still eating, you asked to go to the ‘specs’ shop. That’s so cute! You were actually referring to the Mini Toons shop! They sell novelty sunglasses that you love to play with and thus that’s the name you’ve given it. :D
Thus, after lunch, we brought you to walk around the ‘specs’ shop for a while. We then headed down to KP as you wanted to see the elephant! :D It’s amazing to us how you’ve come to associate places with certain favourite things and we know what you are referring to. :D We are so communicating with each other, Lil’ One! :D We then headed over to Metro to look for some stuff.
After that, we went back up to the hairdresser to get your fringe trimmed. The hairdresser che-che was so careful with your hair, Lil’ One. It was such a contrast with the so-called professional hairdresser for kids at the Junior League. Mama and Papa are totally never bringing you back to that place. These ‘non-professional’ kids’ hairdressers are so much better at entertaining you and keeping you calm. Sigh… And they charge so much less for trimming your fringe than Junior League as well.
We then headed to Gelare for waffle and ice cream. Tuesdays are the days that the place offers a 50% discount on their waffles. :D You so ate the waffle and ice cream. Sigh… Your sweet tooth is just too powerful. :p
We actually thought of bringing you out but we were afraid that you would be tired again so we went home instead to let you rest. But it was a very strange time by then. We kept you up instead of letting you nap so that you would go to bed earlier tonight. We brought out the Hungry Hippo game and once again you fed the hippos directly. :D You’re so cute! :D
Papa went out to get dinner for you but you refused to eat anything. In the end, Mama got you to eat a few pieces of the fish by getting the dolphin to feed you. Oh well…
