Farewell Popo!
Dearest Skyler,
We woke you up early today as we had to go down to the airport to see Popo off! She was going off for a short holiday! We met up with Kow-fu and Kow-moh there as well.
We had breakfast at Jollibean but you once again refused to eat or drink anything. Sigh… You actually wanted to go on a walk but we refused to let you go as we want you to learn that you have to sit at the table with us for meals. You made a bit of a fuss but it wasn’t as bad as when we were at the sushi place a couple of days ago.
After Popo had gone into the transit area, we went up to the viewing gallery to watch the aeroplanes take off before we left.
We headed to Ikea Tampines as we wanted to get you the high chair that they sell. We’ve been using it at various eating places and it seems to suit you quite well. First, we stopped at the eating place as we wanted to feed you some lunch. You initially refused to eat anything but finally you allowed yourself to eat. I guess you were hungry by then. After lunch, we picked up the chair and a few boxes to put all the books that we’ve bought you.
You were so sleepy by then that you slept in the car. We brought Mama down to town as she had some things to attend to. After letting her off, we headed home.
Papa was also sleepy by then so after letting you watch a bit of TV, Papa put you to bed so that Papa could catch a nap too. You actually didn’t want to sleep but Papa was so sleepy that he ignored your demands to be brought outside to play. :p Sorry! Anyway, you did go to sleep too! :p
After waking up, we headed to the Point to meet Mama for dinner. You once again refused to eat anything that we had. We had even bought the food especially for you. Sigh… You kept on asking for milk but we refused to give it to you. You have to learn to eat proper food, Lil’ One. After dinner, you wanted to sit on the kiddy rides so we brought you to sit in them for a while. Then, we went to buy some stuff before heading home.
You were so hungry by the time we got home that you ate all the oat that Mama had prepared for you. Is that the way to get you to eat properly, Lil’ One? Make you hungry enough to eat? Hmmm…
