Tired Skyler!

Dearest Skyler,

It was another frustrating day for you, Lil’ One, because of the drilling that took place. Sigh… Poor Baby Gal. You were awakened by the drilling that started in the morning and you were still quite sleepy. Mama tried to put you back to bed for a nap during a lull in the noise but on both occasions you were reawakened by the resumption of the drilling within minutes. Sigh…

Mama had planned to bring you to Popo’s place for refuge but at the last moment, Popo could not be around as she had a customer who had called last night to make an appointment to meet her. Oh well…

Mama decided to take you down town to escape the noise. Mama managed to get in touch with Aunty Candy and made plans to meet her in town. Both of you took the MRT down to town as Papa had taken the car as he had a lesson that night.

On the MRT, nobody gave up their seats for you. However, there was a nice gentleman who kept an eye out for Mama and you. When a seat was vacated, he ensured that no one else got to it while he waited for Mama and you to occupy it. Thank you, kind sir! :D

Mama brought you shopping and found a pair of shoes that she thought of buying for you but changed her mind as it wasn’t the best pair that we’ve come across. You met up with Aunty Candy. At Ngee Ann City, Mama borrowed a stroller from them as you were so tired and sleepy. However, you didn’t sleep. You enjoyed being pushed around for a while before you demanded that Mama carry you again! :D You really don’t like the stroller very much anymore, do you? It’s a good thing, actually. It just means that we have fewer things to bring out with us. :D But it’s amazing that we see so many che-ches and kor-kors who are so much older than you still being pushed around in strollers.

Later in the evening, Mama actually thought of meeting up with Kow-fu and Kow-moh but changed her mind as you were so tired by then as you hardly napped at all the whole day. Thus, Mama brought you back on the MRT train. You were so exhausted that you fell asleep in Mama’s arms on the train. This totally stressed Mama’s body! Mama’s so poor thing! Papa should have left the Duckie Mobile with you both so that you could have slept in your own chair. Sigh…

Papa only managed to get back later that night. We spent a bit of time together before we tried to put you to bed. You were so cranky by then, Lil’ One. You refused to go to sleep and everytime Mama walked out of the room, you cried so piteously. It was only after some time that Papa managed to get you to sleep. You were so so so tired by then, poor baby!

Papa and Mama love you!
