Car Ride!
Dearest Skyler,
As you couldn’t get to sleep until very late last night, we decided to give church a miss so that you could sleep in, Lil’ One. We still don’t know why you had such a miserable time last night. Poor Baby Gal!
After you finally got up, we dropped by the Point for a quick lunch at the sushi place where we bumped into Aunty Pearlyn and her family. :D We do keep running into them, don’t we? You didn’t really eat very much there. We’re worried about your appetite, Lil’ One. Oh well… At least you’re still drinking your milk and such. :D
You were still quite sleepy when we left the Point but we decided that you could sleep in the car like you did yesterday. We didn’t want a repeat of yesterday where we brought you home to nap and then you stayed awake for the greater part of the afternoon instead. :p
We headed down to the Peugeot car showroom as we were wondering whether to change cars as part of our efforts to go Green and care more about the environment. The reason being our car’s fuel consumption is on the high side and the carbon emissions are thus also high. We test drove the smallest car there because of its purported fuel consumption. The car was extremely small compared to what we are driving now. We even brought your child seat over so that you could come along as we will never put you in a moving car without one.
After the test drive, we had the salesman calculate the costs and we realized that we couldn’t afford to go Green. Sigh… Oh well…
We then headed off to Suntec City on our quest to get you a new pair of shoes. We almost bought the same pair of shoes that you have now in a bigger size but it had sold out. They simply didn’t have any shoes in your size! Oh well…
We then had dinner at Kenny Roger’s Roasters. We had thought that we would have enough variety of food to entice you to eat but you refused to eat anything except the muffin! In the end, we managed to get you to eat a bit of chicken and the side dishes as well but you really didn’t eat much at all!
We did some grocery shopping before heading home. You were so tired by then.
Papa is so very happy that he had all this time to spend with Mama and you, Lil’ One. Papa’s joy only comes from being with Mama and you nowadays. Sigh… Papa returns to work tomorrow. Oh well…
Papa and Mama love you!
