Skyler Fell!

Dearest Skyler,

Mama brought you down to Aunty Christine’s to play this morning for a short while. While you were there, you picked up a glass star to look at. Aunty Christine warned you that it could break as it was made of glass but as you were just looking at it, Mama didn’t take it from you. All of a sudden, you threw the star onto the floor and of course it got chipped! Why did you do that, Lil’ One? We’d told you before not to throw things! :( Sigh…! You got so traumatized after that that you asked to go home after saying sorry to Aunty Christine a few times.

Mama brought you to Aunty Doo Guat’s today to play with Kor-kor Zachary. While you were there, you found a magnet on their refrigerator door and you plucked it out to show Mama. You were so excited that you ran to her. Unfortunately, your foot got caught on one of the chair legs and you fell on your face! Poor Baby Gal! You cried and cried! Poor Sweet Baby! Your lip swelled up as well. We feel so sad, Lil’ One! Poor Baby!

Mama and you came down to Papa's workplace after that to pick Papa up. We headed over to Aunty Siew Chin's place to visit as she had just given birth to Mei-mei Sarah. :D When we got there, we found that Che-che Rachel was waiting to play with you. She brought you to her room to look around and shared stuff with you. She also played the piano with you. :D Mei-mei Sarah was so cute! She is already so alert! :D

We then went down to Grandma’s to pick her up. We all headed over to Ikea for dinner and to pick up some stools for us to sit at your table. :D We had dinner at the cafeteria and you managed to eat some food. After that, we went over to the kids’ area as you wanted to play with the things there. You had so much fun trying everything out. You also started going down the slide on your own! Wow! You’re such a big girl already! :D You kept on climbing up the stairs to go down the slide. :D You only stopped when Papa carried you off! :D

We then brought Grandma home before coming home ourselves. :D What a busy day for you, Lil’ One. :D

We love you!

Big Bear
Dearest Skyler,
You spent most of today at home as we wanted to have you well-rested for tonight. Papa had a work dinner to attend and Mama was accompanying Papa so we were leaving you with Kow-fu, Kow-moh and Popo. We were going to pick you up quite late so we wanted you to have had enough sleep to last until we came back to get you. :p
Papa came back in the afternoon to pick Mama and you up before we all drove down to Kow-fu's place. You were so excited about going there that you kept on reciting 'Bu-bu', 'Moh-moh' and 'Big Bear'! :D Once we got to their apartment, after a quick 'harrow' to both of them, you dashed off to their living room to get 'big bear'! :D You so love that bear, Lil' One.
While Mama and Papa were gone, you had yet another ball of a time playing with Kow-fu, Kow-moh and Popo! When we finally came back to get you, you were still completely keeping them entertained ... and also leaving them extremely tired! :D We're so glad that you love your relatives so much, Lil' One! :D
We love you lots!

Outing!

Dearest Skyler,

You are such a smart girl, Lil’ One. You’ve come to realize that we will switch off the TV once an episode of your TV programme ends so you’ve come to ask for another episode before the one you are watching ends. :D

We’ve also found several pictures that are available on the website for you to colour, Lil’ One. We can print out all these pictures for free and you can colour them. We’ve printed lots and lots for you to colour. :D

You so love music and songs. You keep on requesting that Mama sing all your Sunday School songs and you’ll do the actions to the songs as she sings them. It’s so sweet, Lil’ One.

In the afternoon, Mama and you came to pick Papa up from work and we all headed down to the zoo for a visit. We’ve not been to the zoo together for a long time and even more so as a family. As Papa and Mama were hungry, we got some food at the KFC before entering the zoo.

We headed straight for the Splashing Safari show and we were so entertained by the Sea Lions there. :D We then walked around the zoo and watched the animals. We managed to catch the penguins close up. They were so distracted by a housefly that was flying around. :D We also saw the elephants bringing people on rides on their backs. We went to the petting zoo and saw a horse, sheep and goats. Papa was so naughty. Papa tried to imitate the sounds that the sheep and goats made and they responded! :p We also saw the pigs, rabbits and guinea pigs. :D

We left the zoo after walking one round and we headed off to Jurong Point for dinner. We wanted to see if you would eat the fish and chips there. :D As Mama and Papa were still quite full from ‘tea’, we ordered only one set of the food and shared. You ate a bit of the fish, thankfully. :D

After that, we walked around Jurong Point for a while. We came across a shop that sold all kinds of hair clips and such and you were so thrilled! You walked around trying out the clips and playing with them all as they were so colourful. :D After buying a few other things, we went home as it was already quite late.

It was such a thrill for Papa to have been able to spend time with Mama and you on a weekday like this. :D

We love you, Lil’ One!

Morning Breakfast

Dearest Skyler,

You awoke before Papa left for work this morning and called for Papa. When Mama awoke, she saw you standing on your bed looking for Papa. Papa also heard you from the living room where Papa was just about to step out of the apartment.

Mama carried you out to look for Papa. You asked for milk and Papa carried you to make some ‘bear-bear’ milk. Papa then fed you your milk before leaving for work. It was such a great time for Papa as Papa could see both Mama and you before going out to face WORK! It was such a warm feeling that Papa carried all the way to work. :D

Later in the morning, Mama brought you over to Aunty Christine’s to visit. You’d not been there for some time already. You were so well-behaved there. Mama had told you to not wander around the apartment and you obeyed Mama. Well done! You also hugged Mei-mei Dawn and played properly. Good Girl! :D

Mama then brought you home to have lunch and you ate half a ‘bao-bao’ that Mama had prepared for you. Yay! Some food in you! :p

As Papa was stuck in school for the whole afternoon, Mama tried to get you to nap so that you would be awake in the evening when Papa came home so that we could spend some time together.

Papa came home at close to 7 p.m. and we all went down to the Point for dinner at the Sushi place. We’d hoped that you would eat your favourite ‘chawanmushi’. :D We met Che-che Joann there and we’d bought a ‘J’-shaped keychain for her. She was so happy to have received it from you! She gave you an ice cream in return which you ate quite a bit of. :D (We feel so bad about receiving all these free food. :p) You also finished the whole cup of ‘chawanmushi’. :D

After dinner, we went down to Kiddy Palace as Mama wanted to buy some art and craft stuff for you to play with. We don’t want you to keep on watching TV! :p Papa watched over you as you walked around playing with the toys there. You ended up on the swing set as well. :D We bought you a smock so that you can put it on to protect your clothes when you draw and such.

We then headed down to Cold Storage to buy some flour and colouring for you to play with. Mama will keep a close eye on you to make sure you don’t make a mess! :D While Papa was paying for the stuff we bought, Mama brought you out to play on the horsey merry-go-round. Then we headed home. :D

We love you, Lil’ One!

Raisin Soup

Dearest Skyler,

You woke up very early today, Lil’ One. You woke up very soon after Papa left for work. That’s really really early, Lil’ One. We’ve developed a theory – that you wake up so early because you’re not eating enough. You’ve been downing only milk for the most part and this cannot sustain you until later thus you wake up early for a milk feed as you are hungry. Are we right?

Mama tried to feed you some soup for lunch but again you refused to eat. Mama had to resort to putting raisins into your soup to get you to have some. Even then, you didn’t really eat much. Sigh… We really pray that you’ll get past this phase very very quickly. You need to eat to get the necessary nourishment!

After Mama had bathed you, you insisted on being dressed to go out. Thus, you spent the rest of the day dressed to go out. However, Papa was rushing some work and thus came back later than he had intended.

By the time Papa got home, it was quite late in the evening and you were already so sleepy. Mama had not tried to put you to bed as it was already close to Papa’s expected time of arrival at home. Papa and Mama had dinner and we once again tried to feed you some food which you rejected. We gave up on the idea of bringing you out after dinner as you were really sleepy by then. We decided to just stay at home and keep you occupied until bed time.

We finally broke out Aunty Lin Lin’s ‘Hungry Hippos’ game. You were such a great girl, Lil’ One; instead of using the lever to get the ‘hippos’ to grab the marbles, you fed each ‘hippo’ individually by lifting up the upper part of their mouths and pushing the ball in! :D Mama shared with Papa how she had always wanted a set when she was younger as she’d had such fun with this game at her friends’ places. Finally, we have a set of our own. :D

Then, after reading a few books, we put you to bed as you were quite exhausted by then.

We love you, Lil’ One!

Skyler’s Not Eating!

Dearest Skyler,

You woke up quite early again this morning. However, you were still quite sleepy so you went back to bed soon after having your milk. Papa was quite sleepy too as you’d awakened sometime in the night once again so Papa went back to bed too.

However, we had to wake up soon after as we had to go to church today. We really wanted to go (as we’d missed last week) even though we were so tired. :p We quickly washed up and rushed down to church though we were late anyway. :p

They didn’t have Sunday School today as the teachers were not around. Instead, Aunty Amy and Aunty Emily distributed colouring materials for all of you kids to colour. As Mama wasn’t feeling well, Papa watched over you instead. After doing some colouring, we went to get your hands washed before coming back for biscuits. As there wasn’t much going on, we all dispersed quite quickly. However, you refused to go back into the main service. You wanted to stay outside and walk around. Papa didn’t want to force you so that’s what we did.

The che-ches from the older groups were also dismissed from their classes and as the main service was still not over, they started playing around outside. You so totally jumped in with both feet and joined them! You were so small compared to them and yet you ran after them and got right into the middle of their activities! Everyone of the che-ches took time out to speak with you! It was so cute! Che-che Eadoin also came to carry you! She loves you so much. She told Mama that she missed you the whole week! After a while, you stood aside and watched che-ches Wei Ai and Eadoin acting out ‘Rapunzel’. You got so excited that you even wanted to join in!

After the service ended, Papa brought you to meet up with Mama. We then headed down to United Square as we were to have lunch with Kow-fu and Kow-moh. We got there a bit earlier than they so we walked around a bit before we headed for lunch at Swensen’s as it was the most convenient. When Kow-fu and Kow-moh got there, you were so happy to see them! :D

After we got our food, you kept on spitting out the food we gave you! We don’t understand why you keep on spitting out your food, Lil’ One! It upsets us tremendously. There was absolutely no reason for you to do that. Again, you refused to eat anything and we got so worried about this. Sigh… Anyway, since you refused to eat, Papa brought you out for a walk and Kow-moh and Kow-fu took over later on so that Papa could eat.

To ensure that you had some nourishment in you, we decided to buy you some ice cream which you happily ate. Sigh… You have to eat something proper, Lil’ One. You cannot just eat sugary stuff. :(

After lunch, we went down to the Cold Storage to buy some groceries for the week before we came home.

Later that evening, you refused to eat your dinner! Mama had prepared some soup for you but you simply refused to eat! We had such a time trying to get you to eat. Sigh… Oh well…

We love you, Lil’ One!

The Littlest Town Mouse

Dearest Skyler,

You woke up quite early again this morning – about 7 a.m. Papa had been hoping to sleep in a bit as this was one of the few Saturdays this period of time that Papa needn’t go in for work. Oh well… You didn’t want to go back to sleep so in the end, we just stayed awake the whole time.

Mama had to go see Dr W today so we set off earlier since everyone was awake. We decided to stop over at the Forum Galleria for breakfast as we were there so early. We’ve decided that we will wait with you here when either Mama or Papa have to go see Dr W as there’s so much for you to do here.

We had breakfast at McDonald’s then Mama went off for her appointment. Papa brought you around the building and we visited the kiddy rides as you asked for them. However, you appear to have developed a fear for them, Lil’ One. Papa brought you to each of them and at every one you didn’t want to sit in it. Papa was quite surprised. Were you really so frightened by the ride at the Point last night? You had been sitting on the horsey merry-go-round when another Papa put in the coins for his girls to enjoy the ride. Papa thought you would be okay but you got so frightened by the movement that Papa had to pull you off the horse. Are you still afraid that the rides will start moving again? Papa’s so sorry!

As you were reluctant to sit on the rides, Papa brought you up to Toys ‘R’ Us to walk around. You walked all over the place trying out many of the toys. There was a kitchen set there that you didn’t want to leave! :D You spent so much time playing with the utensils. :D There was also a drum set that you totally enjoyed drumming on.

Papa was quite upset with a che-che who tried to push you away from the drum set while you were trying it out. She was twice your size and she just tried to step in front of you though there was no space at all between you and the drums! Papa was SO angry that someone that size would try to do that to you! The only result would have been you being pushed to the floor! How can any parent allow their child to behave like this! Papa did his best to ask her as gently as he could to wait her turn. She had a maid with her who asked her to go play with something else. Grrr…!!!

Anyway, we spent the rest of the time walking around the place until Mama came back for us.

After Mama came back, we set off for the Crystal Jade restaurant at the Shaw building for lunch. You refused to eat anything! We are getting worried about your not eating, Lil’ One. We refused to let you out of your chair until lunch was over and you managed to last until then.

We then walked around the children’s section of Isetan as Mama had another appointment in the afternoon. We looked at shoes, toys, etc! There were lots of parents around with their kids in that place. We’d never seen it so busy before. :D

When it was time for Mama to leave for her appointment, we all walked together to the place. After leaving Mama there, Papa and you went back to Borders to wait for Mama. We looked at a few books but you weren’t really interested and kept on asking to go out. We ended up waiting at the coffee joint at the other end. We sat on the stairs and had some raisins while waiting. You kept on walking up and down the few steps they had there.

Mama had been delayed a bit at the appointment so Mama came back later than expected. As such, Papa had to bring you back to the Duckie Mobile to wait as the parking coupons had expired. However, you refused to go into the car. You struggled and struggled to avoid being put into your car seat. By that time, Mama had come back. Mama and Papa figured that you actually wanted to go back to Forum Galleria. We are astonished with your memory, Lil’ One! You totally knew the direction to F.G. and kept pointing towards it while we were still in the car park where we couldn’t see the building at all!

We decided to give in to you as you gave us no choice. :p We had to put another parking coupon before we walked back to F.G. You walked around a few of the shops that we had not been to after Mama and Papa had some food for tea. Again, you refused to eat anything solid. It was only after this walk around that we could put you back into the Duckie Mobile.

By that time, it was too late for us to go home for a nap as Mama and Papa had planned to do, so we set off for Grandma’s instead. You fell asleep immediately after being put in your seat. :D You were so exhausted by then, Lil’ One and you hadn’t had a nap the whole day!

At the coffeeshop, you acted up again. Initially, you refused to sit in your high chair but we managed to coax you into it when you wanted to drink your milk. Mama had to bring you along to get some water to make the milk. After drinking your milk, you asked for some more so Papa went to get some more water to make the milk. Then you made some noise that Papa had left you so Mama took you out of your seat to look for Papa. Papa then made some more milk for you but you refused to take most of it and you also refused to go back into your seat! Sigh… In the end, Papa carried you off for a walk around the area while Grandma and Mama ate their dinner. After Mama was done, she took over walking with you while Papa ate. Sigh… Grandma didn’t get to spend any time with you at all!

While Mama was walking with you around PRIME, she came across some Blue’s Clues flash cards so we bought them for you. :D

We brought you home after dinner and put you to bed soon after. What a tiring day it had been, Lil’ One.

Papa and Mama love you!

The Littlest TV Addict

Dearest Skyler,

You’re such a TV addict, Lil’ One. You’ve watched TV the better part of a day and you still demand to watch it every chance you get. Papa and Mama aren’t going to let you watch so much, okay?

Mama was still not well today. Poor Mama! Mama wanted to bring you out today but she was still so unwell that that didn’t work out.

Papa wanted to come back earlier this afternoon to watch you and give Mama a chance to rest but Papa had so much work to do that Papa was delayed for a bit.

After Papa got home, we all took a nap as we were all exhausted. :p

We fed you some fish for dinner before heading down to the Point to get dinner for Papa and Mama. You wanted some of our food too so we fed you and also gave you your favourite soya bean drink! :D

You were so tired by then as you’d been sleeping by 9 something the past few nights. Poor Lil’ One! When we got you home, you fell asleep soon after! :p

We love you, Lil’ One!

Papa Rushes Home

Dearest Skyler,

You threw a tantrum for no discernible reason this morning. Mama couldn’t do anything with you until you calmed down. What happened, Lil’ One?

Mama let you watch a bit of Pepa Pig today and now you’ve developed a sign for the show! :D You put your ‘fist’ on your nose and ask for “pig”! :D

Papa had to attend to something in the afternoon so Papa couldn’t get home early again. However, while Papa was there, Papa received a text message that Mama was feeling even worse so Papa headed straight home to care for both Mama and you.

Mama needed to rest so Mama went to sleep for a while. Papa took you out to Admiralty Place to buy you dinner and pick up some other stuff. Then Papa and you got home and Papa tried to feed you some dinner. However, you were not really interested in eating. You kept on wanting to walk around.

Skyler, you’ve to learn to sit at the dinner table at home until all of us have had our dinner, okay? We’ll keep on teaching you this until you get it. It seems to be easier outside because you can’t get out of the high chair that we strap you in. Oh well…

Papa and Mama love you!

Papa Comes Home Early

Dearest Skyler,

Mama’s still sick, Lil’ One. Poor Mama!

As Papa didn’t have any official work in the afternoon, Papa left work early to take care of you. Mama needed some sleep so all of us took a nap after Papa got home and we’d spent some time together. When we woke up, we watched a bit of TV before dinner.

After dinner and your bath, Papa and you walked over to Admiralty Place to buy some foodstuff for Mama and you. Papa and you ended up buying quite a bit of bread as that was all that Mama felt that she could eat as she had no energy to cook.

Skyler must continue to behave and not make Mama any more tired than necessary, okay?

We love you!

Skyler Loves Bear

Dearest Skyler,

Mama’s not well still. Hmmm… Mama does show symptoms of Papa’s illness. Sigh… Just goes to show. We must never share food or drinks with people – especially when they’re sick. Papa shared soup with Mama and now she’s sick as well. Papa’s so sorry!

Mama was so tired from her illness that she couldn’t keep you occupied as she usually does. You ended up watching TV all day. Sigh… We’re letting you turn into a TV addict, Lil’ One. We will try our best to control this as much as we can. :p

You’ve also started putting all kinds of things that you pick up into your mouth! Thank God we’ve vaccinated you with almost every thing that’s been recommended. We hope that you don’t catch any major illness from this. We’ll try to stop you when we can but … We just hope that you’ll learn to stop this very soon.

Skyler-Darling, you’ve shown such compassion that it amazes and touches us. You have a book that has a picture of a bear crying and feeling sad. Every time you see that picture now, you’ll reach out to stroke the bear and ‘love’ the bear! :D Sometimes, you’ll even ‘hug’ the bear! :D That’s always so cute to watch! Now, you have to continue to do this with people too, okay? :D

Papa’s SO sorry! Mama was not well and Papa still spent the whole day out – at work, in a meeting, and attending a lesson at night! Sigh… Papa must make it up to Mama somehow. Mama was so tired caring for you and this is made worse by her illness. Sigh…

Anyway, after Mama had bathed you at night, you refused to be put into your pajamas and instead demanded to be dressed in clothes that you wear to go out. After putting on your clothes, you ran out and grabbed your shoes! Mama had no choice but to dress up as well and take you out to the Point.

After Papa’s lesson ended, Papa met Mama and you at the Point for a quick dinner at the sushi place. It’s so funny, you’re such a popular baby there. Che-che Joann was there and all her staff started fussing over you as well. :D

By the time Papa got there, you were already so tired and somewhat cranky. :p Papa’s so sorry Papa came back so late!

Papa and Mama love you!

Mama’s Not Well

The drilling has changed to loud banging now. Yay! They’ve stopped demolition work! The hammering is not as loud or irritating as the drilling so it’s not as bad!

Mama had planned to bring you to Aunty Doo Guat’s to play with Kor-kor Zachary but she called to say that she wasn’t feeling too well. Poor Aunty Doo Guat. Thus, Mama decided that you would stay home today.

Mama also started feeling unwell. She doesn’t seem to be having Papa’s symptoms so it could be something else. Mama’s been working very hard these past few weeks and getting insufficient sleep and rest, Lil’ One. Taking care of you is very exhausting and besides that, Mama still has her studies to be concerned about. Poor Mama! But Mama’s a very determined person and she will do well if we support her, okay? Please be obedient to Mama!

Papa couldn’t get back earlier to relieve Mama as Papa has lots of work to clear. Papa feels so bad that he’s out working instead of being at home taking care of Mama and you. Thus, when Papa got home, Papa tried to do as much as he could so that Mama could rest. But still, Mama was so poor thing. Sigh…

Thankfully, you were quite sleepy today so we managed to put you to bed very early – and you slept through! Amazing! Papa had feared that you would wake up and not want to go back to sleep!

Good night, Lil’ One!

Papa and Mama love you!

Shoes!

We missed church in the morning. You had woken up a bit early in the morning and Papa got up to feed you your milk and watch a bit of TV with you. But you were actually so sleepy throughout that time. Papa then put you back to bed and … Alas! we slept through the time for the service! Mama got up but Mama couldn’t get Papa and you up! :p

After we got up, we went over to the Point for lunch at the sushi place where we met Che-che Joanne who gave you some watermelon. She’s such a nice lady! And she keeps on giving you free food! She says that you remind her of her niece, Lil’ One. :D

After that, we went back to Cold Storage once more to buy you some diapers as we’re running out! Your stuff are really expensive, Lil’ One. Papa’s spent about two hundred dollars just on stuff for you this weekend! :D

We then headed down town to look for shoes for you. Mama had come across shoes by Combi which looked quite nicely made at Kiddy Palace and we wanted to get them for you. We then searched the Internet for other outlets and we found one in town that was supposed to stock most of the designs.

We parked near the Malay Heritage Centre and it was quite cool as we had never been there before. (We also had to walk past the Sultan Mosque.) They were having some kind of festival but there weren’t many people around. We walked through the site to get to the shop called Tai Sing to look for your shoes. We found a pair that we quite liked and bought it for you. Finally, you’ve a new pair of shoes, Lil’ One. They also had lots of toys around the store and you went around exploring them. :D

We then headed to church for the afternoon service. There, we met Che-che Eadoin and Rachel who wanted to play with you and you wanted to play with them too. You had so much running around with them even though you couldn’t really talk with them. :D

Darling, you’ve adopted some very cute mannerisms! You sometimes cover your mouth and laugh and we wonder where you picked it up from. You look so cute when you do that!

We then headed home as you were very tired by then. You slept in the car all the way home. :D

We love you, Lil’ One!

Grandma Comes Home

Papa had to go in to school today to attend a meeting. So sorry, Lil’ One! There shouldn’t be too many of this Saturday morning abandonments anymore for this year, Lil’ One.

Mama's former student visited in the morning. She had been wanting to visit for some time but we’d always been too busy. Finally, she could come. You were still so sleepy when she came that you didn’t play with her very much. :p

After Papa came back, we went to the Point for a dim sum lunch. We had our usual bao-bao among other stuff. We then walked over to Mini Toons as you wanted to go in. You tried on a few pairs of sunglasses but they were all too big for you. :D Again, we went down to Cold Storage to buy some stuff for you. As they were having a sale on your milk powder, we bought several tins to stock up. They even came with VCDs (that were supposed to teach you how to read) and eating utensils – fork / spoon and chopsticks! :D We spent quite a bit of time walking around the Point today.

By the time we left you were so exhausted that you fell asleep immediately upon being put in your car seat. Even after we got back to our car park, you were still sleeping and you didn’t wake up at all when Papa put you in bed. In fact, you stayed asleep for another hour before you woke up.

When you woke up, Papa was all ready to set off to the airport to meet Grandma as she was returning from visiting Ah Pek and his family. You spent the evening with Mama. Papa only came back later to put you to bed after bringing Grandma back to her home.

You were so awake still when Papa tried to put you to bed. It took Papa one whole hour to finally get you to sleep. :p Oh well… :D

We love you, Lil’ One.

Skyler Couldn’t Sleep

Dearest Skyler,

Skyler, you couldn't sleep last night. Papa was still sleeping in the other room when Mama came over and woke Papa up sometime past 3 a.m. Mama told Papa that you had awakened and wanted Papa to carry you so Papa went back to our room to care for you. Both of us had thought that it would only be for a short while… Imagine our surprise when it took Papa half an hour to get you back to bed! Papa was already so tired and sleepy but you refused to go back to bed! We still can’t figure out what happened, Lil’ One. Mama thinks that it’s because Papa wasn’t sleeping in the same room as Mama and you and that has upset you. Is that true, Lil’ One? :D

Papa felt so much love for you then, Lil’ One. You so wanted Papa and Papa felt so needed by you. All Papas should put their Lil’ Ones to bed! :D

In the morning, the drilling still carried on! It’s two days past their licence period! This contractor is really inconsiderate, Lil’ One. Oh well…

In the afternoon, Mama and you swung by to pick Papa up from work and Papa brought Mama and you to Jurong Point. Papa had an errand to run so Papa left Mama and you there. Mama and you walked around Toys ‘R’ Us among other stores and you had such a dizzying time running around there as this was a place that you had not been to before. When Papa was done, Papa went back to pick Mama and you up.

We then went down to United Square to visit the shoe shop ‘Collettee’ once more to see if we could get you a pair of shoes. We got you to try on a few pairs but nothing really suited your needs. Sigh… Mama thus wanted Papa to take a look at the shoes that Mama and you had seen at Takashimaya the other day.

We dropped you off at Kow-fu’s & Kow-moh’s to play. Popo came after work as well. We left you there to play with them as we continued on our quest for your shoes.

We went back to Takashimaya to take a look but the sales person there said that she had sold off the pair that they were supposed to have reserved for you. Oh well… again, no shoes for you, Lil’ One. Sigh…

We went back to pick you up later than we expected as we couldn’t find any place to eat. It was crowded everywhere! So sorry, Lil’ One. In the end, you went to bed very late tonight.

We love you!

Papa on Medical Leave

Dearest Skyler,

We slept most of the day today, Lil’ One. Papa was on Medical Leave and thus, didn’t go to work. Papa slept in for as long as he could. Thankfully, the drilling didn’t start until a bit later than the past three days. Papa was quite angry that the drilling was still going on though. The licence for such renovation work allows only three days of such disturbance to the neighbours but the contractor for the renovation works still carried on for a fourth day. Mama and you had already endured all the racket for the stipulated period and they were still carrying on past the allowed date.

The drilling lasted most of the day but we could only endure it. We spent the whole day at home as Papa was too tired to go out. It was only later in the afternoon that the drilling stopped and we could all go take a nap. The noise had been very draining on our energies.

After we got up from our nap, we all headed for dinner at Banquet where you had the bulk of a bowl of fish soup. We then went down to Cold Storage to pick up some groceries.

As usual, you got to ride on the kiddy rides that we came across. However, you seem to have lost some interest in them. You still want to sit in them but you don’t sit in them for as long as before. I guess the novelty is wearing out for you.

We love you!

Papa’s Sick!

Darling Skyler,

Our neighbours were still drilling today, Lil’ One, and it was still very troubling for both Mama and you. Both Mama and you couldn’t rest at all. So poor thing!

In the afternoon, Mama brought you to visit Aunty Doo Guat and Kor-kor Zachary. You, as usual, had a fun time playing with the toys they had there.

After some time, Mama brought you to pick Papa up from work. We all went home for dinner.

As Papa was feeling quite sick, we all went to visit Balloon Uncle. Papa’s throat wasn’t good and Papa was coughing up a storm! This time round, you just sat on Mama’s lap and watched the Balloon Uncle examine Papa. Papa still marvels at how strong you are. You’ve hardly fallen sick, Lil’ One. We are so thankful that God has given you such great health! :D

Balloon Uncle gave you a balloon and a few satchets of the milk powder that you drink, Lil’ One! Thank you, Balloon Uncle!

Papa felt so bad about all the coughing that Papa decided to sleep in your room instead so that Mama and you wouldn’t be disturbed by Papa’s coughing.

We love you, Lil’ One!

Tired Skyler!

Dearest Skyler,

It was another frustrating day for you, Lil’ One, because of the drilling that took place. Sigh… Poor Baby Gal. You were awakened by the drilling that started in the morning and you were still quite sleepy. Mama tried to put you back to bed for a nap during a lull in the noise but on both occasions you were reawakened by the resumption of the drilling within minutes. Sigh…

Mama had planned to bring you to Popo’s place for refuge but at the last moment, Popo could not be around as she had a customer who had called last night to make an appointment to meet her. Oh well…

Mama decided to take you down town to escape the noise. Mama managed to get in touch with Aunty Candy and made plans to meet her in town. Both of you took the MRT down to town as Papa had taken the car as he had a lesson that night.

On the MRT, nobody gave up their seats for you. However, there was a nice gentleman who kept an eye out for Mama and you. When a seat was vacated, he ensured that no one else got to it while he waited for Mama and you to occupy it. Thank you, kind sir! :D

Mama brought you shopping and found a pair of shoes that she thought of buying for you but changed her mind as it wasn’t the best pair that we’ve come across. You met up with Aunty Candy. At Ngee Ann City, Mama borrowed a stroller from them as you were so tired and sleepy. However, you didn’t sleep. You enjoyed being pushed around for a while before you demanded that Mama carry you again! :D You really don’t like the stroller very much anymore, do you? It’s a good thing, actually. It just means that we have fewer things to bring out with us. :D But it’s amazing that we see so many che-ches and kor-kors who are so much older than you still being pushed around in strollers.

Later in the evening, Mama actually thought of meeting up with Kow-fu and Kow-moh but changed her mind as you were so tired by then as you hardly napped at all the whole day. Thus, Mama brought you back on the MRT train. You were so exhausted that you fell asleep in Mama’s arms on the train. This totally stressed Mama’s body! Mama’s so poor thing! Papa should have left the Duckie Mobile with you both so that you could have slept in your own chair. Sigh…

Papa only managed to get back later that night. We spent a bit of time together before we tried to put you to bed. You were so cranky by then, Lil’ One. You refused to go to sleep and everytime Mama walked out of the room, you cried so piteously. It was only after some time that Papa managed to get you to sleep. You were so so so tired by then, poor baby!

Papa and Mama love you!

Noise!

Dearest Skyler,

Papa had to return to work today after a long weekend! Papa missed Mama and you so badly.

Mama and you had a terrible day today as one of our neighbours is doing some massive renovation work to their apartment and there was lots of drilling throughout the day. The noise was so terrible that Mama and you couldn’t even hear anything on the TV – Mama tried to increase the volume for your Mouse so that you could hear the programme but it was to no avail!

In the end, Mama and you went to Aunty Christine’s to seek refuge! You spent a bit of time playing with Mei-mei Dawn as Aunty Christine was busy with the two older children. You were so nice to mei-mei, saying ‘Hi!’ to her and playing with her gently. :D

Later in the evening, Papa came home from work and we all went down to The Point for dinner. After dinner, we went over to the Library to return and borrow some more books for you before heading home. As usual, you loved running around the big open spaces in the library. However, you have to be more careful, Lil’ One. You ran down a dip in the floor and fell down. Poor Baby Gal!

Mama has decided to redecorate your play area so that the main focus will be your books, Lil’ One. You’ve been neglecting your books for a while and we want you to start enjoying them again. We’ve put your toys in one corner and spread out your books on your playmat so that they are easily accessible. And it’s worked! You’ve started picking up your books more often to flip through them! :D

We love you, Lil’ One!

Car Ride!

Dearest Skyler,

As you couldn’t get to sleep until very late last night, we decided to give church a miss so that you could sleep in, Lil’ One. We still don’t know why you had such a miserable time last night. Poor Baby Gal!

After you finally got up, we dropped by the Point for a quick lunch at the sushi place where we bumped into Aunty Pearlyn and her family. :D We do keep running into them, don’t we? You didn’t really eat very much there. We’re worried about your appetite, Lil’ One. Oh well… At least you’re still drinking your milk and such. :D

You were still quite sleepy when we left the Point but we decided that you could sleep in the car like you did yesterday. We didn’t want a repeat of yesterday where we brought you home to nap and then you stayed awake for the greater part of the afternoon instead. :p

We headed down to the Peugeot car showroom as we were wondering whether to change cars as part of our efforts to go Green and care more about the environment. The reason being our car’s fuel consumption is on the high side and the carbon emissions are thus also high. We test drove the smallest car there because of its purported fuel consumption. The car was extremely small compared to what we are driving now. We even brought your child seat over so that you could come along as we will never put you in a moving car without one.

After the test drive, we had the salesman calculate the costs and we realized that we couldn’t afford to go Green. Sigh… Oh well…

We then headed off to Suntec City on our quest to get you a new pair of shoes. We almost bought the same pair of shoes that you have now in a bigger size but it had sold out. They simply didn’t have any shoes in your size! Oh well…

We then had dinner at Kenny Roger’s Roasters. We had thought that we would have enough variety of food to entice you to eat but you refused to eat anything except the muffin! In the end, we managed to get you to eat a bit of chicken and the side dishes as well but you really didn’t eat much at all!

We did some grocery shopping before heading home. You were so tired by then.

Papa is so very happy that he had all this time to spend with Mama and you, Lil’ One. Papa’s joy only comes from being with Mama and you nowadays. Sigh… Papa returns to work tomorrow. Oh well…

Papa and Mama love you!

Skyler's New Car

You woke up a bit early today and Papa was finally fit enough to care for you. Papa gave you your morning milk and watched Bear & Mouse with you before tucking you back in.

When we finally awakened once more, we headed off to The Point for lunch. We had dim sum at Crystal Jade and you had siew mai, bao-bao and almost one whole glass of soya bean milk! :D But you’re still eating very little, Lil’ One. Hmmm… How do we get you to eat more?

After lunch, you were sleepy again so we went home to let you have a nap. We thought of bringing Papa to the zoo so that Papa could see the new baby hippo. We thought we would do that after the nap but it didn't work out as Papa was so sleepy. Thus, instead of you falling asleep, it was Papa! :D By the time Papa woke up, it was too late to go to the zoo! Oh well…

Instead, we headed off to Aunty Lin Lin's to collect the car they wanted to give you. Uncle Tong Peng, Che-che Audrey and Kor-kor Dexter were home too. You so loved the car, Lil’ One! :D

For a short moment, we were wondering if the car could fit into the Duckie Mobile as it was quite big. Thankfully, there was no problem fitting it in the boot. Our Duckie Mobile is really huge in space, Lil’ One. :D

We rushed down to Borders to buy a couple of books – Mama found a book of posters that she thought that you would like and we bought another book for Kor-kor Luke and Che-che Joan. As we were in a rush, Papa and you waited in the car for Mama.

After that, we went to Popo's place for dinner. We also left the car there so that you could play with it when we visited her. :D You kept on climbing into it to sit in it and play with it! Thank you Aunty Lin Lin and family!

After dinner, you kept on wanting to climb the stairs but we asked you to wait for us to be ready. You were such a good girl! You listened to our instructions and waited for us. Even then, you didn’t really climb up the stairs as many times as before because we didn’t give you permission. Well done, Lil’ One. Papa’s knee was still hurting so it wasn’t convenient for Papa to accompany you up and down the stairs.

Popo then brought you up to her room to play. Kow-fu and Kow-moh came soon after and so all of us went up to Popo’s room to watch you play! :D You so enjoy jumping on beds now! It’s dangerous so we always have to keep an eagle eye on you. :p

By the time, we left, it was quite late so we all headed home.

Papa and Mama love you!

Runaround Day

You woke up a bit early today so Papa got up to feed you your morning milk. After a while, you were sleepy so Papa put you back to bed.

When you awoke once more, we got washed up and drove down to the zoo for a short visit. We had lunch at the KFC then we went in to look at the animals near the entrance. We didn't get beyond the otters as we had lots of places to go to today.

Our next stop was a bank as we had a transaction to make.

We headed to NIE after that as Papa needed to get some paper work done. Poor Skyler had to follow us as we went back and forth from one building to the next. We met the lecturer for Papa's new course and she was so nice. She kept on trying to talk to you but you were too shy to respond.

We all went over to NUS after Papa was done as Mama needed to get some books from the library. Papa and you had intended to wait for Mama at Ginza Plaza like the last time but we only realised it was being torn down when we got there. So, Papa took you to IMM instead.

You were napping so we never got out of the car there. Mama had called while you were still sleeping to say that she was ready so we headed back to pick her up.

After picking Mama up, we drove down to Vivocity. You were so sweet! You kept on 'loving' Papa and resting your head on Papa's shoulder during dinner. Papa was SO touched!

We then went shopping for shoes for you. We went to all the kid's shops but we couldn't find any suitable. Sigh... We ended up at Toys 'R' Us where we walked around for a while before we headed home.

Thank God for the school holiday! Papa needed this time to rest.

We love you!

National Day

Today's Singapore's 42nd National Day!

We woke up quite late today. Papa needed the rest to recover from his injury and you slept in to give Papa the time to sleep! :D

After we got up we rushed down to the Point to get some stuff as we were attending a pot-luck gathering at Uncle Swee Kuan's and Aunty Amy's in the afternoon. Most of your Sunday School friends and their parents were there. We had lunch and you played with your friends throughout. You had so much fun exploring all their toys but you were frightened by this remote control inflatable robot that they had. Poor Baby Gal!

After that, we went home for a nap as Papa was very tired. Apparently you were too as you slept longer than Papa!

After we woke up, we had dinner then we headed down to town. We dropped by Takashimaya to look for a pair of shoes for you. However, even though there was a bit of time before closing, the salespeople were more interested in sweeping the floor than helping us. Oh well...

Since we couldn't find anything, we headed off to Borders as Mama wanted to buy more books for you. You were such a good girl! You didn't insist on climbing the stairs which was a relief for your injured Papa. And you helped to put books back onto their piles. People had just left books on the floor; you picked these up and returned them to the stack. Thanks for being such a civic-minded child, Lil' One.

We then headed home as Papa was very tired again.

We love you, Lil' One!

Papa's Old!

Papa’s school celebrated National Day today. As part of the celebrations, Papa played floorball against a few students. Papa’s so old that Papa got injured playing. Papa tripped and fell while trying to get to the ball. The only good thing was that Papa did get to the ball and managed to pass it to a colleague who scored. :p But Papa ended up with a graze on the knee and it hurt quite a bit. Sigh… It’s one of the worst minor injuries to get as it stings badly.

Oh! Papa also got his 15-year Long Service Award today as it is also Papa’s school’s Annual Speech Day today.

Sigh… All these just add up to show how old Papa is. :p But Papa will always be young at heart and will always remain young because you make Papa feel like a brand new man each day, Lil’ One! :D

Papa came home and slept in the afternoon as Papa was very tired and needed to get some rest and healing. Mama had to care for you. Papa felt so bad! Papa was supposed to have come home to spend time with Mama and you but Papa slept instead. You were a very good girl! You let Papa sleep and were contented to just be with Mama.

Papa had to go for a lesson at night so once again, Papa wasn’t around to be with you. Papa was so sad.

Popo came to visit and spend time with you and you had such a fun time with her as usual.

Papa came home after his lesson and slept through the night with you. Sigh… Due to Papa’s injuries, Papa couldn’t bathe or put you to bed! Papa misses all these! Papa promises to recover quickly so that Papa can do all these again, okay?

We love you!

Squids!

Dearest Skyler,

You spent a slow day at home in the morning. Later in the afternoon, Mama brought you to the zoo to walk around. Before you left, as usual, Mama got you a cup of Milo.

Both Mama and you then came to pick Papa up from work and we all headed down to Borders for a while.

We had a fish dinner once again and the people there were so nice, they gave you a cute-looking squid to play with. In fact, we got two – one at the beginning of our meal and another at the end! :D

After dinner we walked around the toy shop opposite the restaurant once more. You so embarrassed Papa, Lil’ One. Papa had taken down the Heffalump toy to let you play with and you just grabbed its forelegs and started ‘running’ around the store. To prevent it from being dragged on the ground, Papa had to hold up the hind legs and follow you! You kept on going round and round the shop and Papa had to tag along the whole time! :D

We then went down to Borders to look at some books before heading home.

We love you, Lil’ One!

Potty Training(?)

Dearest Skyler,

You were quite a handful today.

In the morning, Aunty Chris had come with Mei-Mei Dawn to watch you so that Mama could cook but you made so much noise that they had to leave! This was quite surprising to Mama as you had been so excited when Mama said that they were coming up. You even grabbed a toy to pass to them and waited for them at the door! Sigh… Mama had no choice but to let you watch TV the whole time that she was preparing dinner.

You also had your first experience with using your potty to boom-boom today! You told Mama that you were booming and Mama asked if you wanted to use your potty and you said ‘Yes!’ The problem was that you had already started! :p Anyway, Mama helped you to use it but it was one big mess by the time you were done! :D Mama had to clean both you and the potty thoroughly! But, well done! You’re becoming such a big girl now!

Later in the evening, Aunty Chris and her kids came up for dinner with Mama and you as Papa had to attend a lesson at night. This was so you all could keep each other company as Uncle James was not around then either. However, once again, after some time, you got noisy and cranky again! After dinner, they had no choice but to leave! You kept on grabbing your sandals and demanded to be brought downstairs for a walk so Mama decided to give in to you.

As, it was close to the time that Papa was coming home you both came to wait for Papa at the car park so that we could all walk back together.

We quickly bathed and fed you your dinner. Papa was hoping that that would allow you to sleep earlier tonight as Papa had so many things to do and Papa was already so tired from a whole day and night of work. However, it didn’t work out that way. Sigh…

Papa tried to put you to bed but you refused to sleep and you kept on rubbing and pulling your tongue resulting in your regurgitating your night milk onto your bed and your clothes! Sigh… We had to clean up everything and give you another bath! :( Oh well…

Papa was very unhappy as that meant that Papa could not do what he had hoped to. You were so apologetic by then as you realized that Papa was unhappy but you know that Papa cannot be angry with you for long! You’re just so loved! And you don’t know what you’re doing sometimes. Papa just hopes that you’ll learn quickly though. :D

We know that you don’t mean to make us unhappy, Lil’ One, and sometimes we make you unhappy too. It’s okay! It’s normal, yes? But we’ll come to understand each other more as we go along, okay?

Papa and Mama love you!

Bye Bye Che-Che and Kor-Kors

Dearest Skyler,

You woke up very early this morning, Lil’ One, and refused to return to sleep. Thus, Papa brought you out for your morning milk. After that, we watched a bit of TV before you were sleepy enough to return to sleep.

When Mama woke Papa and you up, we were already late for church service. We rushed like mad to get ready as it was going to be another full day out!

We got to church and Mama brought you for Sunday School. After a while, you got hungry and we went out to feed you your milk. After that, we headed off to Raffles City to meet Kow-fu and Kow-moh as we had to borrow something from them.

We had lunch at Sushi-Tei and you had a whole cup of chawanmushi again. Bu-bu and Moh-moh spent lots of time feeding you as you were quite cranky and refused to sit still to eat.

After lunch, we rushed off to Grandma’s place as we had to bring Grandma to the airport to see ‘Ma-em’ and your cousins off. While they were checking in at the airport, you had such a great time running around the check-in area with your cousins! You were so happy! It was such a joy to see the big grin on your face! :D

After they had left, we headed back to Grandma’s to help her do something before we headed to Kow-fu’s and Kow-moh’s to return them the thing we had borrowed earlier.

We went to United Square after that to have our dinner as we figured that it would be emptier than the Point. And we were right! We had absolutely no problems finding a place to eat as it was fairly empty. Once again, of course, we had to let you sit in the kiddy rides that we came across. We also let you slide down one of the sliding structures that they had. :D You so enjoyed the slide!

We then came home after buying some stuff.

We love you so much, Lil’ One!

Hello Che-Che and Kor-Kors

Dearest Skyler,

Papa had to go in to work again this morning, Lil’ One. Papa’s so sorry that he’s spending family day at work. Not many more such occasions, okay? Please be patient. Mama had thought of bringing you to the zoo this morning and picking Papa up after that but you were so sleepy that Mama couldn’t carry out that plan. Instead, Mama and you stayed home to rest and watch some TV.

You were so cute! You asked your little red ball to watch you clap to the Little Brown Bear song and when Mama reminded you that little ball has no hands to clap with, you said ‘Hi!’ to it instead! :D

In the afternoon, after you woke up from your nap, Mama and you came down to pick Papa up from work. Papa so appreciates the efforts that you both make to make things easy for Papa. But Papa feels guilty about troubling you both this way. So sorry!

When you got to Papa’s work place, we brought you to look at the fish pond. You were quite thrilled to see them as they’re so colourful. :D

We then all headed back to the Point to have lunch. We had some bao-bao for lunch among other things and spent some time walking around looking for things to buy for ‘Ma-em’, Che-Che Reika, Kor-Kor Eujin and Kor-Kor Kenji as they had just returned from Japan in the morning. We were going to have dinner with them at night.

After getting some stuff, we headed home for a nap as Papa and you were so sleepy by then.

We only headed off to Grandma’s (they were staying over at her place) later in the evening. We joined them for dinner before going up to Grandma’s place for a short visit. You had such a grand time playing with them as they so totally showered so much attention on you.

After some time, we headed home as it was getting late.

We’ll miss them after they return to Cambodia, Lil’ One. We won’t get to see them again until probably next year. Oh well… At least they’ll have our small trinkets to remind them of us. :D

When we got home, you once again were very naughty. Again, we spent some time trying to talk to you about this but this left us all stressed! It took you a bit of time to get to sleep after this. We really really pray that we’ll get past this phase quickly.

Papa and Mama love you!

Helpful Skyler

Dearest Skyler,

You were such a sleepy little girl this morning, Lil’ One. Mama had planned to bring you to the library with Aunty Chris and Mei-Mei Dawn but you were so tired that Mama asked them to go without you both so that you could rest.

After you had a nap, you surprised Mama by referring to hippo as ‘Hippo’ rather than your usual ‘Po’. You’re learning so many words so quickly!

You’re also so helpful around the house! :D You’ve been helping to clear up rubbish around the place by picking them up and throwing them into our wastebin. :D Thank God you stopped taking things out of the bin though! :D

You were once again a bit naughty and Mama had to speak to you about your behaviour. Some people think that you’re still too young to understand correct behaviour but we don’t think so; you seem to know when we think that a behaviour is wrong and you’ll look contrite when we speak to you about it. It really pains us to do this, Lil’ One, but you must learn to behave appropriately. We get so stressed that you are stressed but we’ll have to get through this phase together, okay? You are more often than not well-behaved but there are occasions where your actions can be dangerous or rude and we have no choice but to correct you. But always remember, we love you and nothing you do can change that.

Later in the afternoon, Mama and you came down to pick Papa up from work. We brought you over to Kow-fu’s and Kow-moh’s home to play – with them and Popo. Once again, Mama and Papa took the opportunity to spend a few moments alone.

You had a great time at their place playing with them all. You always look forward to being with them, Lil’ One. And they look forward to meeting you too! :D

Mama and Papa came back later to pick you up and we all headed home.

We love you, Lil’ One!

Blue’s Clues & Pooh Bear!

Dearest Skyler,

You were a naughty girl today. You kept on doing things that Mama told you not to and you even caused Mama a bit of pain-pain. Sigh… it looks like you’ve gone into the ‘testing’ phase of your development, doesn’t it? You are still a good girl, Lil’ One. No doubts about that! But you seem to be doing stuff to see whether our reactions are consistent. Oh well…

Mama and you spent the whole day at home today and you played and watched your programmes! :D Of course, this was in between Mama having to teach you the correct behaviour expected of you! :p

Later in the evening, Papa came home and we all had dinner. After dinner, we headed off to Aunty Lin Lin’s place to pick up the toys that she and her children, Che-Che Audrey and Kor-Kor Dexter, wanted to give you.

When we got there, you were so shy that you didn’t want to step into their house. But, after a very short while, when you saw all the toys they had, you started running around all over the place exploring! Skyler, you cannot just go into other people’s homes and touch whatever you want. You must be more respectful, okay?

You were so excited by the fish that Kor-Kor is rearing and they also had a car that you kept on returning to. You kept on getting into the car and sitting in it. :D

Wow! What a collection of toys they gave you, Lil’ One! You have stuff from Blue’s Clues like Blue and Tickety-Tock and so many Winnie the Pooh and gang toys! These toys should give you hours and hours of fun! :D

Aunty Lin Lin wanted to give us the car as well since you like it so much but we couldn’t fit it into the Duckie Mobile with the other toys so we’ll collect it another time, okay?

Thank you Aunty Lin Lin, Che-Che Audrey & Kor-Kor Dexter! :D

We love you, Lil’ One!

"Teeth Doctor "

Dearest Skyler,

Mama read on the Internet last year that the U.S. authorities recommended that babies be brought to see a dentist by their first birthday. However, when we called up our dentist a few months ago, he said that there was no need to bring you to see him till you are about 3.

A few days ago, Mama decided to try again to bring you to a dentist, just to be sure you didn't have any cavities. Mama started looking for a dentist that catered to young babies like you and she managed to find a couple and we made an appointment for you. That appointment was for today!

Coincidentally, today’s The Straits Times also had an article on how the government is planning on having all babies be brought to see a dentist by their first birthday! Wow! What a coincidence! :D

Aunty Chin Chin and her son, Kor-Kor Greg, came for a visit today. Aunty Chin Chin is a very nice lady that Mama used to work with. She and her sons have emigrated to Canada thus it is not easy for Mama to meet up with her.

Kor-Kor Greg was such a great kor-kor! He took such great care of you and you liked him so much! He played the organ with you and other toys as well! :D Later, all of you went to the Point together and again, Kor-Kor Greg took care of you.

As Mama and you stayed at the Point later than planned, Mama and you were too late to pick Papa up from Papa’s workplace! We were to have gone down to the Dentist together. In the end, Papa had to take a taxi to meet up with Mama and you at United Square. :p

You totally cried when the Teeth Doctor tried to check your teeth, Lil’ One! That made it so difficult for him to do anything! :p But what he did manage to do was confirm that your teeth looked okay and that while Mama and Papa are anxious about why some of your teeth have not shown themselves, it is alright. :D

The irony was that while he and his partner are specialized dentists for children, he told us that there was little point for us to have brought you down before you were three years old as you did not have all your teeth yet. Oh well… Never mind, it’s better for us to be safe than sorry. :D

After the visit, while Papa was making payment, Mama told you that the doctor inside is a "teeth doctor". You were so cute! After that, you kept saying "teeth doctor", and you said it so clearly! Well done, Little One!

We then walked around a bit before we met up with Kow-fu and Kow-moh for dinner at Swensen’s. You were so hyper-active tonight. You refused to sit still for long and kept on demanding to walk around. So, all of us took turns to watch you.

After dinner, we took a walk around the shops and, yes, you sat on the kiddy rides again. :D

We love you!
