Aunty Christine’s, Raffles City and Popo’s Place

Dearest Skyler,

We once again spent a lazy time at home for most part of the day. We dropped by Aunty Christine’s for a short while in the morning. Kor-kor Luke and Che-che Joan were doing some art and craft – they were making penguins out of art paper and toilet roll cores. :D

Mama intends to do the same with you when you’re older Lil’ One. You will learn how to make some craft and do some art work when you can. As it is, we are already encouraging you to learn how to use crayons now. :D Mama also has materials to put up your art work right now! :D

Aunty Christine also gave us some banana muffins (Which you totally loved! You kept on demanding to eat them throughout the day!) Thank you, Aunty Christine!

You had a short nap in the afternoon and then we spent the rest of the afternoon playing.

Later in the afternoon, we went down to Raffles City as we wanted to shop at Robinson’s. We bought a couple of mugs for ourselves and a Care Bear towel for you! We also bought a cheese cake for our snack for tomorrow. We bought this cheese cake for you to try as it is quite light. :D

We headed to Popo’s place after that. We had hoped to celebrate Popo’s and Gong-gong’s wedding anniversary but Gong-gong had to rush off at the last minute to attend to something so we couldn’t. Oh well…

Kow-fu and Kow-moh joined us for dinner there. You spent quite a lot of time climbing up and down the stairs once again. All of us had to take turns to bring you up and down as you totally tired us out, Lil’ One.

Mama and Papa were also totally worried while we there as there were mosquitoes around. We had read in the newspapers that there was a dengue fever hotspot somewhere ‘near-ish’ that area. Thus, we insisted that the main door remained closed even though it was quite warm as we wanted to minimise any possibility of you being bitten by a mosquito and coming down with dengue fever. :P Sorry everyone!

You began to get quite fussy later in the evening as you were so tired and you had some heat rash as well. Poor Baby Gal! Thus, we decided to bring you home so that we could bathe you and powder you. :D

Just an afternote: Baby Gal, why do you like to sit on the rack below the clothes rack in the study? You’ve been doing this for a few days already and Mama and Papa wonder why you like to do that. :D

We love you, Lil’ One!

Papa and Mama
