Neighbours!
Dearest Skyler,
Mama brought you to visit our neighbour this morning. We’ve known about this neighbour for some time now as we stay in the same block but we hardly spoke to them before. However, the Mama Neighbour spotted a car decal on our Duckie Mobile that showed which school Mama attended and she left a note on our car saying that she attended the same school as Mama! She’s also a Christian and a Stay-At-Home-Mom. This was a few days ago.
Mama finally made a bit of time to drop by Mama Neighbour’s place to visit. Mama Neighbour had baked some muffins and cupcakes and she wanted to share with Mama. Guess what! Mama Neighbour has lots of Blue’s Clues stuff – books, soft toys, videos! You were so enthralled by all of it! :D
Mama Neighbour also has a young duckie – about five months younger than you – you have a Mei-mei to play with next time! And a Che-che and Kor-kor as well! It’s so great to have a Christian neighbour who has so much in common with us. Papa Neighbour works full time in a church and now he is working with Uncle Daniel (the uncle who married Papa and Mama in church!) So many links, Darling! :D It’s so cool!
Papa came back very late today as he had to attend to work in the afternoon. Once Papa arrived home, we quickly left for the Point with Grandma so that Mama could have some private time.
We went to Crystal Jade for dinner. However, you were so restless that Papa hardly had time to complete his meal. It didn’t help matters that you refused to allow Grandma to entertain you! :P In the end, Papa had to finish the food while standing up in the middle of the restaurant with you in one arm! :D
The funny thing was that while you were protesting against Papa putting you down, a little Mei-mei at the next table was staring at you. You noticed her and quietened down to look at her. When you did that, she gave you a raspberry! :D It was so funny to Papa and Grandma as you just stared at her without responding. It was funny because you like to give raspberries too but you didn’t respond then!
Mama has to take her examination paper tomorrow, Lil One. You must pray real hard that Mama does well, ok? Mama’s not have had enough rest the past few weeks so you must pray that she has alertness of mind to know what she is required to do.
