The Library
Dearest Skyler,
Papa brought you to the library in the evening, Lil One, after another long day of resting at home. We didn’t go for church service today as you are still suffering from the infection and we were afraid that the rash on your leg and arm may unnerve the other parents in the Sunday School.
At the library, we encountered all kinds of children. There were two sisters who were quite rude in their behaviour towards you and they made Papa quite unhappy. The elder sister actually pushed you aside because you were standing near the table that they wanted to occupy. After that, every time you walked near their table, the sisters would warn each other that you were nearby and they would sweep up all the library books that they had taken off the shelves in fear that you would take them away. They didn’t know that you wouldn’t take their books but still that sort of behaviour was so uncalled for.
Their behaviour was so in contrast to this Kor-kor’s. He was so willing to share the books he had with you and he almost began to read to you when you walked off on your rounds around the library. He was so smiley and polite! It was amazing how contrastive their behaviours were!
You must grow up to be more like that kor-kor, okay? You must be nice to people and be willing to share what you can with them. That’s the way to show God’s love for the people around you.
We love you, Lil One!
