Skyler’s Busy Weekend
Dearest Little Skyler,
This weekend was a very busy for us, Little Girl.
On Saturday, we went for Aunty Sandy’s wedding lunch at Peony Jade Restaurant at Clarke Quay. We had never been at that restaurant before so we were a bit lost but thankfully we managed to get directions from Papa’s friends. We met up with Papa’s former colleagues - Uncle Boon Cheng, Aunties Pat, B.K. and Kar Foon. You remember Uncle Boon Cheng, right? We went to his place to play with kor-kor Joel and che-che Grace before? He’s the one who introduced you to Teddy Puffs. :D
You allowed almost everyone to carry you and everyone was so impressed with how well-behaved you were! :D You also did your usual activity which was walking around all over the place exploring. :D You definitely kept Papa and Mama busy. :D
That night, we had dinner with Tua Pek who had just come back from Cambodia. You spent the evening playing with che-che Reika and kor-kors Eujin and Kenji. It was a fun time for you as they love to play with you. :D Sigh… Very few opportunities left to see them, Little One. They’re leaving for their overseas posting soon. :(
On Sunday morning, we went for church. You attended the Sunday School and ate FIVE biscuits during the snack time! You really love eating bread and biscuits, don’t you, Skyler? :D We’re still hoping that you’ll enjoy eating more substantial food soon. During Sunday School, you did some drawing too! :D
For dinner, we went for Mama’s cousin’s wedding at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. It was Mama’s long-lost, never-seen before, cousin’s wedding. :D Mama was so curious about how he looked! :D There, we met Gong-gong, Popo, Kow-fu and Kow-mo and other of Mama’s relatives. It was quite fun meeting them as we very seldom meet up with them. We also missed seeing them during Chinese New Year because we were all unwell.
Once again, you were so well-behaved that people commented on it. :D What a good girl you are! But, as usual, you could not sit still throughout the dinner (which is alright) so all of us took turns to bring you outside for walkies. :D By doing this, you were able to last the whole dinner! We were even among the last to leave. Well done, Little One! Your endurance has become much better! :D
We love you SO much!
