Mama’s Birthday!

Darling Skyler,

Today is Mama’s birthday!

The sad thing was that Papa was away from you both the whole day! Papa had to go to work as usual and to make matters worse, Papa had to attend class in the evening as well. Sigh…

Mama and you spent the whole day together and the greater part of the night as well. It was not until later in the evening that Godma Audrey came over to our place to celebrate Mama’s birthday with her.

Godma Audrey had brought dinner for Mama and herself and a birthday cake. You all sang Mama the birthday song after which they had a slice of cake.

Papa ended class fairly late and then had to rush back to collect Mama’s birthday cake that we had ordered the day before before the shop closed. Papa just made it in time! :D We then sang Mama the birthday song once again and had another cake-cutting ceremony. :D

You had also bought Mama a tin of Kjeldsen's Butter Cookies! :D It was so amazing. We had brought you along to a supermarket a few days before and you suddently just reached out and picked up a tin of Kjeldsen's - Mama's favourite brand of butter cookies! Wow an insightful birthday present for Mama! :D

Happy Birthday, Mama! You’re the best Mama Baby Skyler and wife to Papa that this family can ever dream of! WE LOVE YOU!

By this time, you were so exhausted that you fell asleep almost immediately, Poor Baby Girl. Papa saw you for only about an hour today. Papa’s so sad. Papa missed you. Sigh…

OH! Today was also the first day that Mama gave you a shower instead of a bath! :D
