Ambassador of Singapore

Dearest Little Skyler,

You’re really doing your part in being an ambassador of Singapore, Little One. Mama brought you out on the MRT this week and on two occasions, you waved at tourists who were traveling in the same cabin as you both.

The first tourist was from Italy. He responded to your waving by video recording you, Darling. Hahaha! You’re now part of someone’s home video collection and his memory of Singapore! :D

Today, you waved at a British couple on the train. They then started talking to Mama and apparently the man was totally surprised that you were a girl! For some reason he thought that you were a boy even though his lady companion had told him that you were a girl! :D It is so strange to both Mama and Papa that people still think that you’re a boy at this stage of your life – your hair is fairly long for a boy already and we so totally dress you up like a girl, especially with your bright pink shoes! :D Oh well…

Mama brought you down to town today and you kept on walking into stores and getting carried by the workers in them! You’re really so sociable, Little One! You’ll let anyone carry you when you’re in the mood and that is more often than not! You’ve allowed strangers in a queue with Papa carry you, you’ve allowed NTUC Fairprice cashiers carry you and you’ve allowed sales assistants carry you! Who’ve you not allowed to carry you?

It’s quite worrying for Mama and Papa, Little One, that you’re so sociable. What if someone took you away and you just allowed him / her? But at the same time, we’re very glad that you’re so sociable and secure with us and yourself. :D Sigh… the confusion of parenthood!
